BMW has finally revealed their new S 1000 RR race bike - which will be released next year. Hendrik von Kenney - General Director of BMW Motored - has stated that they will be building 1,000 units of the new model.

BMW Motorrad is constantly thinking of different ways of protecting its riders. They have introduced its new neck Brace System, which is designed to help protect the spinal cord from injury in the event of an accident. It’s usable with any helmet, and the way it works is quite simple and easy for anyone to use. The rider places the carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass brace around his or her neck and then secures it using a pair of fasteners mounted to its side.

The K1200RS has always been a unique type of BMW motorcycle. It may not be the most ideal one that people look for today, but it is still a BMW, which means high quality, but still it lacks something. The K-RS has the swoopy look and semi-aggressive riding position of a corner-hungry sport-tourer.

1960 was the year of the R 69 S (””S”” for “”sport”” model). Considered by many to be the “”classic”” BMW motorcycle, the R 69 S is the fastest Boxer to date, achieving a top speed of 109 mph at 42 bhp / 7,000 rpm. It uses a gear-driven cam and has bearings “”everywhere””.
